| FAQs - Nonprofit FAQ's |
The Mississippi Center for Nonprofits ("MCN" or "the Center" for short) works to strengthen the nonprofit sector in Mississippi for the benefit of the people and communities of this state. We do this by providing workshops, technical assistance and information on nonprofit management, encouraging cooperation among different nonprofit organizations, promoting ethics and accountability standards, encouraging giving and volunteering in Mississippi, advocating for policies that will make the nonprofit sector more effective, and offering other programs to help nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit organizations in Mississippi who qualify to receive charitable contributions may become members of the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits, with the added benefits and discounts on services for member organizations.
